The Meat

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lies, corruption, scandals, and hypocritical actions by Republicans:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bush’s administration:

- Condaleeza Rice states Clinton left no plan to combat terrorism, and Bush did what Clinton would have.

o Clinton's plan

o Bush's warning that he didn't act on.

- Cheney's former company gets rediculous number of contracts.

- Bill designed to aid Bush campaign contributors.

- Bush can do campaign commercials with flag draped coffins, but not the media?

- Outsourcing jobs will help the economy?

- Bush against the NEA, a national teacher's union.

- Stunted stem cell research.

- Iraq has weapons of mass destruction according to Bush. They've also been found.

- Bush cannot name a mistake he has made.

- Bush ridicules Evangelicals.

- Halliburton under FBI investigation over fraud.

- A U.S. attorney was demoted while investigating Abramoff scandals in Guam by Senior Bush Officials.

Crimes by Republicans:

- Halliburton overcharges U.S. military by 61 million dollars.

- $1.8 billion in charges by Halliburton not adequately documented.

- An illegal estimated $180 million was paid in kickbacks for rights to build a refinery in Nigeria under Cheney's tenure.

o Why it's illegal.

- Halliburton pays $7.5 million in fines for illegal activities.

- Halliburton in bed with Iran in oil deals while Cheney was CEO. It's still going on.

- Spying in the United Nations took place.

- A phone jamming scheme was orchestrated by Republicans prevented Democrats from voting.

- Bush uses Medicare funding for political advertising. – Do a word search for Bush, then start reading.

- 9-11 Cleanup workers were exposed to highly dangerous conditions leading to health problems.

- Crimes at Abu Ghraib allowed by higher up officials. Pentagon officials blame the abuse as a result of "CIA interrogation policy".

- Republican pleads guilty to accepting 2.4 million in bribes.

- Republican Party pays several hundred thousand dollars in legal fees for person with guilty plea to voter fraud.

- Jack Abramhoff Scandal

o Bob Ney admits guilt.

o Steven Griles

o Safavian

-

Media:

- Fox says Clinton hates journalists and can't answer questions professionally.

o Could it have to do with all the interruptions?

- Fox News gives Foley the following label: "Mark Foley (D-FL)"

- According to Mathew 5:28 Fox here sponsors adultery.

Congress:

- Peaceful Iraq War protestors are arrested.

- Of the twenty four Senators asking for Clemency in Michael Fay's case, only two were Republican.

o Richard Lugar, and Frank Murkowski

o The case was about an American being caned for using spray paint on various vehicles which washed off easily according to the source.

- Conservatives block Foley investigation.

- Clerk to testify GOP knew about Foley sex scandal years ago.

- Christopher Shays says "at least nobody died" in Foley Scandal, like what happened in "1969".

General Conservative Leaders

- Falwell compares Hillary Clinton to Lucifer.

- Jesus Camps teaching future Christian terrorists?

- Republican to continue campaigning despite a letter threatening legal immigrants.

Republican Homepage

- Republican Party home page has "I'm proud of Bush" mousepads.

- Republicans criticize Democrats for voting against bill that legalizes what many consider "torture".

- Republicans attack possible Democratic choice for government reform committee "extremely partisan".

o And how the hell are Republican choices not partisan?

o What about Republicans calling Democrats “weak” for not supporting torture as an interrogation method? Do they realize what we can do to suspects other countries can do to American suspects?

Republican Propaganda

- GOP uses fear tactics in an attempt to gain votes, quoting Bin Laden comments.

o Do note that there are now MORE terrorists! At the VERY LEAST Democrats had a slow withdrawal of terrorism through friendly actions.

Theft by Republicans

- Democrat memo stolen and copied detailing strategy for anti-Iraq War efforts.

- Memo stolen from Democrats dealing with timing on assaulting Bush Iraq policies to hurt re-election.

- Memo stolen on Democratic campaign strategy for Maryland.

- Memo stolen from Democrats on strategy to find Iraq war veterans critical of Bush.

- Memo stolen on Democrat campaign policy.

- Another memo on politicizing Iraq stolen.

- Democrat handbook draft stolen. – Republicans accuse Democrats of breaking campaign finance laws.

o This revealed that they planned to work with Unions and various organizations to run the campaign and involve them in decision making. Technically they are legally allowed to do anything they want regarding the campaigns as long as they don’t contribute too much money to PACs or campaign funds. They can run as many commercials as they want. It’s called soft money. No Democrats were arrested or fined, hence no laws were broken by Democrats.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Democratic Corruption?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Fox calls Reid immoral for land sale.

o He had a friend set up a corporation; they bought two lots, and sold them with the corporation after rezoning the land. Harry Reid continued to pay taxes on the land and stated he owned it to fellow congressmen, and didn’t disclose the deal to congress either. Why should he in such a private matter? He may have had just a verbal agreement, but the two in the deal knew each other for a very long time.

- Reid to give back campaign money spent on Christmas bonuses to house staff.

o It’s thirty three hundred dollars, namely for people such as his doorkeeper. I’m sure if he has a door keeper, he pays somebody to file his forms. It looks like he was simply misinformed. He seems to be a bit like Bill Gates, a rich guy that wants to do something good for people, just with a lot less money. Don’t forget the fact he has a $750,000 dollar Condo, and if this is all the Republicans have, then I don’t see what’s so bad.

- Republicans call an extra Christmas bonus to Reid's staff with campaign money "personal use".

Major Issues:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Bush warned about 9-11.

- August 6th, 2001 debriefing (Over 9-11)

- Video supporting controlled demolition (supposedly) at the WTC

- PBS World Trade Center Information

The September 11th 2006 edition of Time Magazine details the logic behind conspiracy theories, admitting that there are two very possible explanations. The conspiracy and Bush theories both have practically unbeatable support, and are both based on purely circumstantial evidence. Time Magazine also details how the theories are not talked about at all on television, but flourish on the internet.

Abortion

- Statistics on the troubles of the adoption system.

- Number of abortions each year.

o How the hell are we going to provide homes for those babies?

Afghanistan

- Afghans killed in Nato Strike.

-

Education

- Fox says Black Democrats may vote Republican based on race.

- Decline in Evening News viewer ship:

Environment

- Global Warming causing ice caps to melt in Kenya presenting a danger to water supplies.

- Canada OKs plan to create wildlife reserve four times the size of Yellowstone Park.

- Rising sea temperatures are killing the Coral Reef off the coast of Madagascar.

- Argument over rail route that carries coal takes place. – Damage to patient health claimed to be taking place.

- Ex-Pesticide Executive selected to head EPA.

- Global Warming will push up insurance premiums.

Equal Time Laws for Television and the supposed repression of free speech:

Democrats are supposedly suppressing Free Speech with equal time laws.

Amendment I - Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This says Congress. It says nothing about the state legislatures. Since we need to protect free speech in states, we go on to the following www.webster.com definition of congress and expand ourselves.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
congress
One entry found for congress.
Main Entry: con·gress
Pronunciation: 'kä[ng]-gr&s also -r&s, Brit usu 'kä[ng]-"gres
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin congressus, from congredi to come together, from com- + gradi to go -- more at GRADE
1 a : the act or action of coming together and meeting b : COITUS
2 : a formal meeting of delegates for discussion and usually action on some question
3 : the supreme legislative body of a nation and especially of a republic
4 : an association usually made up of delegates from constituent organizations
5 : a single meeting or session of a group
- con·gres·sio·nal /k&n-'gresh-n&l, kän-, -'gre-sh&-n&l/ adjective
- con·gres·sio·nal·ly adverb
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm sure the people back then used number two quite a bit. There were quite a few things called congress, however it came to have a few versions made archaic, but we're looking for their old definition in usage of the constitution.

We had two meetings called the first and second continental congresses, which drafted the constitution. This means a congress is simply a formal meeting of delegates for discussion and usually some action on a question.

Well how about that!? Now Congress includes talk shows like they have on Fox News!

This would support the equal time laws. Now of course we go to various websites owned by individuals, or individually operated web pages.

Those aren't composed of multiple people where multiple people make decisions, so our blogs are protected from the equal time clause. Big websites like www.FreeRepublic.com, and www.DemocraticUnderground.com, etc. are both congresses though, so they are not protected. Get ready to have some liberal and conservative discussions guys!

Gay Marriage

- President Bush calls for a gay marriage ban.

Mathew 5, lines 28, 31, and 32 say that looking at a woman in lust is adultery, and so is divorce. Why do we allow people to commit adultery in marriage, not have the burke as a main clothing item for women, yet we try to tell gays they can’t marry?

What if homosexuality wasn’t a choice and proof on that was found? Who would make up for the millions of tax dollars gays couldn’t claim in marital tax breaks, family insurance plans, and family benefits in general? What about children gays had adopted?

Humanity Crisis

- Conda Leezza Rice orders Sudan to stop genocide. Didn't Clinton invade Somalia to enforce the peace?

- Children living in extreme poverty in Central Asia.

-

Immigration

- Fox says Democrats use Foley as an excuse to not talk about border security, etc.

A simple solution to this issue would be to simply make a law that says the following:

Any illegal that is hired by an American employer may report himself to the police as working for such employer. The police shall then request proof of employment for the illegal by the employer. If proof is found, the employer shall pay the illegal 100,000 U.S. dollars and the illegal shall be granted automatic citizenship. The employer must still pay any other related fines.

Iran

- United States is considering Iran's help in Iraq.

- Franklin disputed that, and started to explain that the document was an unclassified "list of murders the Iranian government ..." before he was cut off by prosecutors who said he was about to disclose classified information in open court.

- Fake Iraq documents used as justification for war easily labeled as forgeries by U.N. weapons inspectors.

America's swift march to Baghdad the previous month had led to fears in Tehran that it would be next.

So Tehran made a dramatic - but surprisingly little known - approach to the Americans.

Iran's offer came in the form of a letter, although Iranian diplomats have suggested that their letter was in turn a response to a set of talking points that had come from US intermediaries.

In it, Iran appeared willing to put everything on the table - including being completely open about its nuclear programme, helping to stabilise Iraq, ending its support for Palestinian militant groups and help in disarming Hezbollah.

Iraq War

Bush says Iraq had nothing to do 9-11.

The Iraq War: Saddam has biological and chemical weapons and going nuclear.

Iraq has weapons of mass destruction according to Bush. They've also been found.

Oil and the Economy

Oil:

o If oil prices double and gas prices double, that still leaves a lot more profit for oil companies. Did you forget about manufacturing and delivery prices?

- Company cuts oil production to raise prices, saying they are too low and companies will soon cut production to raise prices.

The Economy:

- Minimum wage laws by state.

- Gross Domestic Product changes by state.

o Strangely the GDP raised most around areas with higher wages. The only reason the NE didn’t rise too much is because factories have been going overseas. Even with that, the GDP increased.

- Papa Bush succeeding Reagan put the economy in a dive.

- Wages are lagging behind inflation, while Republicans trumpet a successful economy.

- Enron president found innocent because he's dead. This could hamper ability to reclaim stolen assets for families.

- Wall Street banks fined for Enron scandal participation.

- U.S. prices rekindle inflation fears.

- Bush didn't inherit a recession.

o It’s also good to know that Republicans base the economy conditions as the price of stock, which represents corporate earnings. This means an improving economy for Republicans is not necessarily good for the nation.

Minimum Wage:

10 dollars an hour times 40 hours a week times fifty two weeks a year = $20,800 per year

Poverty Guidelines for 2006

Republicans take offense when Democrat calls Republican support "slavish", despite slave wages. The Democrat apologized.

- Prosecutors confident of Kevorkian case
